Contexto

El *Muscat Ottonel del Loira es un cruce entre la Chasselas y la Muscat de Saumur, así como la Muscat de Colmar también es un híbrido entre la *Muscat Ottonel y la Pinot gris. 

There are two variants —Muscat à Petit Grains and *Muscat Ottonel; the latter, early maturing, is the preferred vine and the better of the two in the production of flavorful, light, fruity and highly aromatic wine. Les muscats d'Alsace proviennent d'une autre variété, le *muscat ottonel.
