Los términos *maderizado y enmaderado se aplican sobre todo a vinos decrépitos, o que han envejecido por contacto accidental con el aire, en barricas, y algunas veces en botellas mal cerradas.

*Maderized wines are normally amber to brown in colour and have a distinctive cooked or mildly caramelized flavour. Les termes *madérisé, madéré s'appliquent surtout à des vins vieillardes, ou ayant vieilli au contact accidentel de l'air, en fûts, parfois en bouteilles basses mal obturées.

Definición Vino blanco con color amarillo oro, oscuro en profundidad, aroma a etanol y áspero oxidado. Brown or going brown because of the effect of oxygen, on the way to oxidized. Qualifie un vin oxydé, à la couleur brunie, dont le goût altéré évoque celui de la madère.

Comentarios S: tablón. S: overoaked; oaky. The term is written either "maderised" or "maderized". Although the term is often used synonymously with that of "oxidized", the latter doesn't infer warm storage. S: maderé. C'est un vin très oxydé.
