Contexto

Variedades de uvas blancas: marsanne, roussanne, bourboulenc, muscat, clairette, *rolle (vermentino blanco), garnacha blanca, viognier, picpoul, mauzac, chenin y chardonnay.

White winemaking has become increasingly sophisticated, however, as evinced by a sea of inexpensive Chardonnay and a dizzingly range of blends of such fashionable grape varieties as Viognier, Roussane, Marsanne, and *Rolle (Vermentino), but oak can be more popular with the makers than the drinkers of these wines. Ce blanc issu du cépage *rolle est pur, délicat, aérien, parfumé (fleurs blanches et fruits exotiques), élégant, frais.
